Since 2012, Girard-Perregaux, the iconic luxury Swiss Replica Watches Brand, is the Exclusive Timekeeper and a Founding Supporter of the new Academy Museum of Motion Pictures, scheduled to open in 2017 in Los Angeles. It will be the world’s premier movie museum dedicated exclusively to the history and future of motion pictures.

To celebrate this partnership, Girard-Perregaux will host a special event called Mechanics of Dreams that will take place at the Sinan Mansion in Shanghai on June 20, 2014. The event will feature a selection of unique images and video footage from the Academy’s collection depicting iconic Hollywood personalities as they live their lives ‘behind the scenes’, at work and at home with their friends and families. The images will be accompanied by selected Girard-Perregaux timepieces displayed throughout the venue.

“Mechanics of Dreams” will also display images that reveal fascinating similarities between the creative process behind the making of a Rolex Replica watches and the production of movies. They will show how both processes aim at creating something that is timeless and iconic, that is born from physical work and that, in time, turns into something magic.
